Living in the age of transformation, the landscapes are also constantly undergoing changes in the name of progress. The land has always been tense over visions of the community and cultural futures. The changes are unheeded. This project observes Gandhinagar's landscape, which is being converted into a future metropolis by the state. The ironic beauty I find in the altered sites I photograph will open my audience to discover multiple layers of meaning in the landscape while maintaining a critical awareness of the environmental issues addressed in my photographic work.
